Pink Panthers:
A New Approach to Menstrual Health

Pink Panthers is a service design project addressing the silence and stigma surrounding menstrual health.

The project was honored with

8 Bronze Indigo Awards in Service Design.

Approach

The Challenge

Menstrual health is still surrounded by silence. 76% of teens search for information online but struggle to find reliable sources, leaving many confused, embarrassed, and unsupported.

Design Intention

Pink Panthers set out to create a safe digital ecosystem where teens could learn about their bodies, connect with trusted mentors, and involve parents and schools in reducing stigma.

The Process

Through research, co-creation workshops, and prototypes, we mapped real teen experiences, designed supportive customer journey maps, and built a serviceblueprint linking schools, families, and healthcare into one accessible service.

Keywords

Menstrual Health · Body Literacy · Co-Creation · Youth Empowerment

Solution

Pink Panthers is a service design project that reimagines menstrual health education through a digital platform. At its center is the Godmother, a trusted mentor guiding teens with clarity and care, supported by interactive tools, resources, and pathways for parents and schools
